PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Easton Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tourniquet . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee moves out of range as Bauer strikes.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bauer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice uppercut lands for Lee. That snapped Bauer's head back.
A big left from Bauer misses.
Lee moves forwards but Bauer connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bauer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bauer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bauer wants to stand and escape but Lee is having none of it.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bauer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee chips away with some ground and pound.
Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bauer's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bauer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Nice strikes from Lee there.

Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bauer defends it well.
Lee misses with a head shot. Bauer uses the momentum to regain guard.
Lee lands a couple of elbows.

Lee throws a big elbow that misses.
Bauer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.

Bauer is sitting in close to Lee's body. Lee has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bauer is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bauer is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lee.
