The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cottenfifther misses with a body shot.
Cottenfifther lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wallace's sensitive parts.
Wallace avoids the head kick by Cottenfifther.

Wallace can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cottenfifther is looking to escape.

Wallace thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Wallace is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cottenfifther has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cottenfifther!

Cottenfifther stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wallace has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cottenfifther can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wallace is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cottenfifther is aware though and is defending well.

Wallace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cottenfifther wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.
Cottenfifther won't allow Wallace to sweep him here.

Cottenfifther postures up in Wallace's guard and throws a big left but Wallace blocks it.
Cottenfifther stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Wallace has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Cottenfifther manages to get his head free but now Wallace has transitioned to an armbar! Cottenfifther grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Wallace! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
