The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenbud avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ekaku is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Nice straight punches there by Ekaku. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ekaku.
Ekaku throws the kick towards the body but Greenbud avoids it.
Ekaku connects with a jab.

It looks like Calvin Greenbud has been cut.
Ekaku throws a front kick that sends Greenbud stumbling back into the cage.

Greenbud tries to keep at a distance but Ekaku has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ekaku breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ekaku throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Greenbud stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Greenbud takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ekaku lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Greenbud seems to have recovered his senses.

Greenbud changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ekaku looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ekaku wants to control but Greenbud is keeping busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ekaku escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ekaku thuds his right hand into Greenbud's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Ekaku closes the distance and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A right hook to the body lands for Ekaku.
Greenbud fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ekaku takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Greenbud shoots in for a double leg but Ekaku sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Greenbud changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ekaku tries to avoid it but Greenbud manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ekaku to the ground. Ekaku escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Greenbud avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
