Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Case Millport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Millport lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Marshall gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marshall is looking to stand up but Millport isn't so interested in that idea.
Millport is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Case Millport.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Millport seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Marshall for as long as he can get away with.

Millport has Marshall pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Millport pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Marshall tumbling to the mat - Millport dives into Marshall's guard.

Case Millport overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Millport has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Millport takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Millport has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Millport knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marshall on the ground.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Millport feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Millport decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Millport rushes Marshall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Marshall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Marshall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Millport is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marshall can do to turn this around?

Millport remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Millport, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
