Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 8 second ride (Jake Owen). Lane Frost is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Frost as Reynolds shoots in.
Reynolds shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frost as he jumps to the side.
Frost throws an overhand right that lands on Reynolds's shoulder, as Reynolds tries to avoid the shot.

Reynolds looks to land a combination but Frost avoids it well.

Frost slaps away a takedown attempt from Reynolds, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Frost cracks Reynolds with an uppercut from hell and Reynolds crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Frost's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Frost is pushing down on Reynolds's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reynolds is fighting to maintain full guard but Frost has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oh Reynolds is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Frost looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Frost is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Reynolds seems to have got his legs back now.

Frost is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reynolds is just riding it out for now. Frost eventually gives up the hold.

Frost is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
