Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Haskil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett's entrance music is She Hates Me. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Haskil!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haskil feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sacketts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!


It looks like Logan Sackett has been cut.

Sackett bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sackett cracks Haskil with a big elbow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Haskil is looking to regain half guard here but Sackett keeps moving and retains side control.
Sackett creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Sackett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Haskil has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sackett has managed to get both his arms back between Haskil's legs - danger averted.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eddie Haskil was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Sackett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Haskil.
Haskil throws a right and a left that both miss.
Whack! Sackett lands a heavy head kick that drops Haskil. The ref tackles Sackett to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Haskil was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Logan Sackett!
