The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasperi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Apina looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kasperi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Apina moves away.
Kasperi lunges at Apina with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Apina's hand.
Apina tries a low kick but Kasperi avoids it.
Kasperi lands with a nice body punch.
Apina looks to score with a jab to the body but Kasperi is just out of range.

Kasperi drops Apina with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Apina looks back up at him and smiles so Kasperi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Apina is rocked!

It looks like Nena Apina has been cut.

Kasperi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Apina sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oh Apina is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Apina counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Apina.

Kasperi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kasperi lands a right hook to the body.
Apina is breathing heavily.
Kasperi darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Apina's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Kasperi before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
