Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo Tykki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veikko Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Timo Tykki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tykki scores with a jab to the jaw.
Velmu keeps the fight on the outside.
Velmu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Tykki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Velmu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Velmu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Tykki is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Velmu scores with a couple of nice shots.
Velmu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tykki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Velmu on the ground.

Velmu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tykki some visible discomfort.
Tykki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Velmu content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Velmu lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Velmu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tykki keeps working.

Tykki tries to hold on but Velmu postures up.

Velmu cracks Tykki with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
