The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosti slips a straight right by Gutz.

Gutz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gutz tries to score with some ground and pound. Kosti controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Gutz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kosti pushes Gutz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gutz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kosti takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Kosti is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gutz asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Gutz wants to control but Kosti is keeping him busy.
Kosti is pushing Gutz's head away, looking to escape. Gutz manages to hold on to the position though.
Kosti is not content to let Gutz control the position.

Kosti wants to get back to his feet but Gutz drags him back down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kosti seems to have recovered his senses.

Kosti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gutz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gutz lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Kosti! Gutz sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Kosti and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
