Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guigui Borgne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Nugent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nugent throws a hook but Borgne blocks it.

Borgne tries to clinch but Nugent moves out of range.

and Nugent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nugent throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Borgne is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nugent is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Borgne to the mat. Borgne regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Borgne is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nugent is controlling him.
Borgne kicks Nugent off and gets to his feet.
Nugent scores with a takedown into Borgne's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nugent keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Borgne's head.
