Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amin Sabz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Champ is here!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sabz tries to clinch but Diaz moves away
and Diaz counters with a left to the body.
Diaz throws an overhand right that lands on Sabz's shoulder, as Sabz tries to avoid the shot.
Diaz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Diaz scores with a nice right hand.
Diaz scores with the left hand. Sabz knows he should have avoided that one.
Sabz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sabz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Sabz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sabz is defending well. Diaz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sabz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Diaz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Nick Diaz was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
