Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daniel but Daniel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Santos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daniel's waist but Daniel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santos off to one side.

Santos tries to lock up and control but Daniel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Daniel jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Santos manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Santos is looking to regain half guard here but Daniel keeps moving and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Daniel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Daniel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Daniel has an Americana. Santos didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Daniel is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Daniel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
