The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renninger swats away the attempt to clinch by Payne.
Payne takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Renninger misses with a jab, cross combination.
Payne shoots for a double leg takedown but Renninger sprawls well. He's pushed Payne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Renninger enables Payne to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Renninger manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

BOOM! Renninger lands a beautiful left hook that drops Payne. Payne tries to recover but Renninger is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Payne lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
