The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cockroach shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Minowa sprawls well. Minowa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cockroach gets slowly back to his feet.
Cockroach misses with an uppercut
and Minowa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Minowa misses with a few strikes there.
Cockroach moves forwards but Minowa connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nice sprawl there from Minowa as Cockroach shoots in.
Minowa lands a lovely overhand right.
Minowa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Minowa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cockroach.

Minowa lands a nice hook to Cockroach's body. Cockroach takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cockroach is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Minowa moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
