The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulsen blocks the body kick.
Poulsen throws a hook but Helix avoids it easily.
Helix steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Poulsen.
Poulsen throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Helix counters with a slapping leg kick.
Poulsen misses with a lunging right hand

and Helix counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Helix throws a strike but Poulsen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Helix can do anything to dispel that myth.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brad Helix hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Helix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Poulsen.

and Helix counters with a head kick. That will keep Poulsen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Helix walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Poulsen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Helix right on the button. Helix goes down! Poulsen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Poulsen gets the win via TKO!
