Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knockout King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
King digs a good hook to Pudzianowski's body.
Pudzianowski misses with a left hand
and King counters with a stiff right hand.
King stuns Pudzianowski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
King looks to clinch
enabling Pudzianowski to counter with a crisp jab.
King fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
King looks for a takedown but Pudzianowski sprawls well.
Knockout King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Pudzianowski counters with a beautiful punch that sends King to the canvas!

King is rocked!

It looks like Knockout King has been cut.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pudzianowski with a flurry of punches that miss.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pudzianowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pudzianowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
King is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pudzianowski lands a couple of elbows.
Pudzianowski wants to get up but he can't break King's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Pudzianowski tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King wriggles free and stands up.
King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mariusz Pudzianowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Knockout King.
King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pudzianowski sprawls well. Pudzianowski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.
King is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pudzianowski is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for King.

King shoots in looking for a takedown but Pudzianowski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
King looks gassed!

King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Pudzianowski counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks King out cold! What a finish! Pudzianowski is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
