Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santana comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mais não bate( Jiu-jitsu ). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Long scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Long remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Long trying to control the action but Santana is working from the bottom.

Long really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Byron Long hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Santana drives through and clinches with Long against the cage.
