The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg works Boicov's body with a nice hook.
Boicov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Berg is fending him off so far but Boicov persists. Nope, Berg circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Ivan Boicov has been cut.
Boicov walks into a left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Berg lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boicov at a distance.
Boicov looks gassed!

Berg manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Boicov on his heels. He'll look to pass Boicov's guard now, I'm sure.

Boicov is rocked!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Berg makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Boicov is still in real trouble! Can Berg finish him?
Boicov can't keep his opponent in guard - Berg advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Berg scores with a big shot! Boicov's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Boicov! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
