Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Delinquent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinigami Hyuuku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delinquent comes to the cage accompanied by On The Warpath. Hyuuku has chosen Killing In The Name Of/Rage Against The Machine as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyuuku thows a body shot but no joy.
Delinquent takes a swing at Hyuuku's ribcage but misses.
Hyuuku fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Delinquent avoids it really well and circles away.
Delinquent moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hyuuku misses with a combination
and Delinquent counters with a nice leg kick.

Delinquent shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hyuuku napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyuuku tries to buck Delinquent off but Delinquent is having none of it.
Delinquent is looking to take a break and control but Hyuuku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hyuuku manages to get back to half guard.
Delinquent slips a nice elbow through Hyuuku's hands, connecting with Hyuuku's forehead.
Hyuuku wants to control but Delinquent is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Delinquent is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Delinquent goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hyuuku turns into him and now he's in Delinquent's guard.

Delinquent drops Hyuuku with a big knee straight up the middle! Hyuuku is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Shinigami Hyuuku has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Delinquent avoids the body shot from Hyuuku.
Hyuuku throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delinquent's waist but Delinquent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hyuuku off to one side.
A slapping leg kick lands for Delinquent.
Delinquent connects with a leg kick. Hyuuku looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Delinquent buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hyuuku has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Delinquent.

Hyuuku is looking for a takedown.
Johnny Delinquent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinigami Hyuuku.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Delinquent looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A big shot lands for Delinquent! That's hurt Hyuuku! Will he recover? Delinquent fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
