The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Riviera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boy lands with a nice combination. Riviera backs away looking to recover.
Riviera misses with a hook. Boy ducked under it nicely.
Boy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Boy keeps the fight on the outside.
Boy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riviera circles away quickly and effectively.
Bad Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riviera throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Bad Boy has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Riviera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Riviera tries to clinch but Boy is having none of it.
Boy scores with a sloppy right hand. Riviera should have avoided that one.
Riviera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Riviera on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Riviera slips a jab and a cross from Boy.

No joy there for Boy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Riviera has closed the distance and engaged Boy in a clinch.
Riviera tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boy avoids it.
Riviera with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Riviera successfully pulls guard.
Boy trying to control but Riviera is working from the bottom.
Riviera is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Riviera in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Boy tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Riviera!
