Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darien Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivanov comes to the cage accompanied by HINO RUSSO. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov scores with a jab to the body.
Ivanov cracks Michaels with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Darien Michaels has been cut.
Ivanov looks to land a right hand but Michaels moved out of range.
Ivanov with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ivanov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ivanov.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Good standup being displayed there by Ivanov as he connects with a hook.
Michaels is rocked!
Michaels rushes Ivanov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Michaels swings wildly with an uppercut but Ivanov uses good head movement to avoid it.
A body shot lands from Michaels.
A frustrated look appears on Ivanov's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ivanov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ivanov jabs Michaels to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ivanov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ivanov lands a slapping body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Michaels throws a hook but Ivanov avoids it easily.
Nice body punch from Ivanov.
The crowd cheers as Ivanov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Michaels doesn't seem phased though.
Michaels looks to score with a jab to the body but Ivanov is just out of range.
Ivanov scores with a punch to the head.
That has opened up Darien Michaels's cut even more.
Michaels takes a swing at Ivanov's ribcage but misses.
Ivanov misses with a wild combination.
Ivanov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Michaelss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ivanov scores with a sloppy right hand. Michaels should have avoided that one.
Michaels is still on wobbly legs! Can Ivanov finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ivanov misses with a wild body shot.
Michaels seems to have recovered his senses.
Michaels looks to score with a jab to the body but Ivanov is just out of range.
Ivanov lands a nice looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ivanov cracks Michaels with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The cut above Darien Michaels's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Michaels throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Michaels swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ivanov drops Michaels with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Michaels looks back up at him and smiles so Ivanov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ivanov drops Michaels with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Michaels! Ivanov dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergei Ivanov!

During a confident post fight interview, Sergei Ivanov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
