The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ponna circles away.
Ponna closes the distance but Fuller moves to the side

and Fuller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ponna's guard now.
Fuller stays in close to Ponna's body and controls the position.
Ponna wants to stand up but Fuller is controlling him.

Ponna is working an open guard so Fuller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Fuller counters with a takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fuller has an Americana. Ponna didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Fuller is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Fuller hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
