Remirevic is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ante up . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Remirevic rushes Dumont and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Remirevic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dumont smiles and moves away.
Remirevic shoots in for a takedown but Dumont shows good takedown defense.
Remirevic has a takedown stuffed.
Charley Dumont has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksandar Remirevic.
Remirevic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dumont counters with a single leg into guard. Remirevic didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Remirevic is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dumont defends well.
Dumont has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Remirevic is proving hard to escape from.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Remirevic is on top in guard.
Dumont wants to sweep but no luck.
Remirevic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aleksandar Remirevic.
Remirevic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dumont is fending him off so far but Remirevic persists. Nope, Dumont circles away and we're back to standing.

and Dumont counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Remirevic's guard now.

Dumont is sitting in close to Remirevic's body. Remirevic has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dumont is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dumont is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Remirevic.
