Price comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Nathaniel Price is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nathaniel Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Stamper!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price throws a nice looking combination but Stamper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Price moves out of range of the body kick from Stamper.

Price gets a double leg takedown into Stamper's guard.

Price wants to control from the top but Stamper keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stamper can do anything to dispel that myth.
Price sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stamper's guard.

Stamper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Price pulls his head out easily.

Stamper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Price pulls his head out easily.

Price misses with a takedown attempt - Stamper sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stamper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Stamper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Price wants to improve his position but Stamper is controlling well.
Stamper wants to pass the guard but Price is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Price has one foot on Stamper's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
No luck for Price with that takedown attempt.
Stamper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Price scores with a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Price shoots in for a takedown but Stamper shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Price fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stamper avoids it really well and circles away.

Price is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Price is looking to take a break and control but Stamper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stamper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Price's waist but Price gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stamper off to one side.

Nathaniel Price is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stamper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Price as he avoids it easily.
Stamper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stamper wants it to stay on the feet.
Stamper tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Price paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stamper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Price sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stamper somewhat.
Nathaniel Price has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Stamper.

Price tries to pull guard but Stamper holds him up against the cage and eventually Price drops back down to his feet.
Stamper has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Price is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Price has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stamper uses from the top position.

Price escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stamper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stamper keeps control of Price as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Stamper lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The fight stays on the outside here - Price looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Price shoots in looking for a takedown but Stamper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Price's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stamper closes the distance and clinches up with Price, looking for a takedown. Stamper pushes Price against the cage but Price circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stamper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stamper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Price.
Harry Stamper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nathaniel Price is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Stamper looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Nathaniel Price showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Price, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
