Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jarret Slertys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitali Popov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Popov has chosen Tupac - Last Muthafucka Breathin' as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popov defending well as Slertys loads up on a big left hand.
Slertys looks to land a combination. Popov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Popov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Popov on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Popov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slertys swivels and escapes.

Jarret Slertys has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitali Popov.
Slertys misses with an uppercut. Popov saw that one coming.
Slertys looks to land a combination but Popov avoids it well.

Popov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slertys tries to avoid it but Popov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slertys to the ground. Slertys escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Slertys throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck for Popov with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Popov is defended easily by Slertys.

Popov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slertys's waist but Slertys gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Popov off to one side.

Popov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slertys defends it nicely.
Popov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Slertys misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Popov.
Jarret Slertys is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Slertys throws an overhand right that lands on Popov's shoulder, as Popov tries to avoid the shot.
Popov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slertys circles away.
Slertys scores with a hook to the body. Popov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Popov shoots in looking for a takedown. Slertys tries to sprawl out of it but Popov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slertys manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Popov looks gassed!

Popov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Slertys stuffs the takedown attempt from Popov. Popov gets slowly back to his feet.
Slertys cracks Popov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Popov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Popov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Slertys fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Popov manages to avoid it.
Slertys scores with a jab. Popov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Popov fails with a takedown attempt.
Vitali Popov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slertys paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Popov shoots for a double leg takedown but Slertys sprawls well. He's pushed Popov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Slertys darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Slertys has Popov up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Popov tries to pull guard but Slertys forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Slertys manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Slertys working some nice short punches in the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slertys is working for takedown but Popov is calmly controlling the position for now.
Slertys wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Slertys creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Popov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slertys avoids it really well and circles away.
Slertys throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Popov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vitali Popov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Slertys looks to score with a jab to the body but Popov is just out of range.
Nice defenses there by Popov.

Slertys gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Popov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Popov trying to control the position from guard on top but Slertys is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Slertys is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Popov drops back looking for a leg! Slertys is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slertys manages to kick Popov off! Popov jumps back into Slertys's guard.
Slertys keeping moving, preventing Popov from controlling successfully.
Popov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slertys kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Popov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Popov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Slertys screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Popov! Nice submission victory there!
