Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gib Nudger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Blamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gib Nudger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nudger shoots in and bounces Blamm off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Blamm looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Blamm is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nudger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Blamm is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nudger dives into side control.
The referee asks Nudger politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nudger prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nudger seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blamm for as long as he can get away with.

What can Blamm do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Nudger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Nudger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nudger is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Blamm tries to clinch up.

Nudger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Nudger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Nudger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Blamm backs up against the cage.
Nudger digs a good body shot into Blamm's ribs.

Nudger wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blamm, who protects the arm well.

Nudger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
