The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maguire clinches.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Maguire obliges.
Hanks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maguire walks away with a smile on his face. Hanks gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Maguire checks a leg kick.
Maguire scores with the left hand. Hanks knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Antonio Hanks has been cut.
Hanks has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Maguire.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maguire stuffs the takedown attempt from Hanks. Hanks gets slowly back to his feet.

Maguire closes the distance and clinches.
Maguire is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Maguire works on Hanks's body with a couple of short punches.

Maguire pulls guard.

Hanks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hanks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Maguire is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hanks defends well.

Maguire pushes Hanks off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Hanks tries to keep at a distance but Maguire has taken the fight into the clinch.
Maguire scores a nice knee to the body.

Maguire jumps into guard, dragging Hanks to the mat.

Maguire is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hanks is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maguire holds on and takes a little breather.
Maguire not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hanks is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maguire is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maguire has escaped and now he's on top!

Maguire thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maguire postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Maguire trying to control but Hanks is working from the bottom.
Hanks has momentary wrist control but Maguire slips an elbow through the middle.
Maguire chips away with some ground and pound.

Hanks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Maguire can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hanks is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Maguire scores with a couple of nice shots.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maguire connects with a nice short shot to Hanks's temple.
