Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Itor Lamope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akiyo Nishiura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamope comes to the cage accompanied by Bulletproof. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Lamope is looking to control Nishiura's arms but Nishiura gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lamope has his back to the cage.

Lamope's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lamope is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lamope seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nishiura does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lamope is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nishiura doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lamope.
