The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lambert closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Barnes's guard.
Lambert is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that Lambert has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lambert stops Barnes from standing up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Danny Lambert hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lambert closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barnes to the mat! Barnes manages to get full guard.
Barnes wants to stand but Lambert is controlling the position.
Lambert is standing up over Barnes. Barnes looks to escape but Lambert dives into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lambert has hold of Barnes's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Barnes seems comfortable defending it but Lambert has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Barnes is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Barnes is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lambert couldn't care less - he's delighted!
