Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Scotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scotch jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jones misses with a right hand

and Scotch counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jones has momentary wrist control but Scotch slips an elbow through the middle.
Scotch trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Scotch is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Jones wants to get back to his feet but Scotch is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Scotch lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Scotch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Scotch is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones wants to get back to full guard but Scotch has mounted him!
The referee warns Jones that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
