Corvia comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - Made niggaz. Kennedy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sinner by Drowning Pool kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kain Kennedy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sean Corvia's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean Corvia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kain Kennedy!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corvia fails with a takedown attempt.
Kennedy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kennedy connects with a looping right hand.
Corvia shoots in for a double leg but Kennedy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kennedy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kennedy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corvia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Corvia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Corvia cracks Kennedy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kennedy is squirming around, avoiding Corvia's attempts to control the action.

Corvia unloads with some shots from mount but Kennedy bucks and avoids them well.
Corvia lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kennedy tries to lock up and control but Corvia gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Corvia shoots in and drives through. Kennedy sprawls well.
Kennedy seems to have recovered his senses.

Corvia is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kennedy can do to turn this around?

Corvia closes the distance and clinches up with Kennedy, looking for a takedown. Corvia pushes Kennedy against the cage but Kennedy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Corvia shoots in looking for a takedown. Kennedy tries to sprawl out of it but Corvia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kennedy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Corvia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kennedy avoids it really well and circles away.
Kain Kennedy seems to be getting the better of the standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kain Kennedy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kennedy stalks Corvia and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Corvia's face. Corvia staggers backwards, shaken.
Kennedy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Corvia.
Oh Corvia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corvia stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kennedy.

Corvia looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kennedy lands a right hand from hell, dropping Corvia. Kennedy pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
