Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Barreda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barreda is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rockstar. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barreda wants to clinch up but Sonnen keeps it at a distance.

Sonnen moves in looking to clinch but Barreda pushes him off.
Sonnen tries to close the distance and clinch but Barreda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sonnen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barreda finds it's way round the side to connect with Sonnen's head.
Sonnen feints a jab promting Barreda to slip. Sonnen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Barreda slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
