The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn fails with an attempt to clinch.

Gaucho stuffs the takedown.

Penn gets caught napping as Gaucho dives in and scores a takedown. Penn manages to retain guard.

Gaucho creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Penn sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Gaucho working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gaucho is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Penn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gaucho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gaucho has hold of Penn's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Penn seems comfortable defending it but Gaucho has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Penn is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Penn is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gaucho couldn't care less - he's delighted!
