The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loiseau throws a series of strikes that have Aleksejev backpedaling.
Aleksejev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Loiseau.
Loiseau doesn't manage to clinch there - Aleksejev circles away.
Loiseau tries for a takedown but Aleksejev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Aleksejev misses the jab.
Loiseau throws a leg kick which misses Aleksejev's front leg but catches the back leg as Aleksejev tries to avoid it.
Loiseau dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aleksejev. That did some damage!

Aleksejev cracks Loiseau with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Loiseau tries to close the distance and clinch but Aleksejev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Aleksejev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Loiseau - the referee stops the clock and Aleksejev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Loiseau. Aleksejev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Loiseau wants to take a breather but Aleksejev manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Loiseau.

Loiseau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aleksejev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
