Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Drake Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stef Johannsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nichols swinging wildly here.
Nichols's jab looks to have found its range, popping Johannsen under the eye.
Nichols lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Johannsen goes down! The ref sends Nichols to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Johannsen is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
It looks like Stef Johannsen has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johannsen misses with an uppercut.
Johannsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nichols moves in looking to clinch but Johannsen pushes him off.
Nichols cracks Johannsen with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Johannsen get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Johannsen looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Johannsen is rocked!
Johannsen lands a jab to Nichols's midsection.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johannsen, as that shot connected.
Johannsen thuds a left hand into Nichols's body.
Johannsen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nichols lands with a cross.
Johannsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Nichols finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Nichols engages and cracks Johannsen with a massive lead left hook - Johannsen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Nichols is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drake Nichols!
During a confident post fight interview, Drake Nichols thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
