Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dedfre Dergffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Paro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paro has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Joey Paro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dergffe chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Paro can pounce on him.
Dergffe misses with a low kick.
Paro lands a nice shot to the body.
No joy there for Paro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dergffe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Paro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dergffe throws a nice looking combination but Paro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Paro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dergffe's calf.
Paro feints and then cracks Dergffe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dergffe down.
Dergffe looks for a takedown but Paro sprawls well.

Paro goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paro can do anything to dispel that myth.
