Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Heister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chad Heister!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
King throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Heister stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Heister tries for a takedown but King circles away easily
and King counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Heister shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily.
Heister misses with a takedown attempt

and King counters by clinching up.
Ryan King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Heister.
Heister looks gassed!
King with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
King with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Heister shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

King pushes Heister up against the cage in a clinch.
King struggles to land a body shot inside as Heister controls his hands.
Heister has King pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. King manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King stalls.

King drags the fight down to the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.

King has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Heister should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, King has tightened it up now! Heister should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Ryan King started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
