Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Patrick Kenzie!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosawa misses with a left hand
and Kenzie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kurosawa thumps Kenzie with a low kick.
Kenzie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kurosawa throws a hook but Kenzie blocks it.
Kurosawa tries a head kick but it misses.
Akira Kurosawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurosawa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kenzie manages to avoid it.
Kenzie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kurosawa shoots in looking for a takedown. Kenzie tries to sprawl out of it but Kurosawa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kenzie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akira Kurosawa.
