The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponowog is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Lee throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ponowog misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Ponowog. That snapped Lee's head back.
Ponowog throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ponowog connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lee. Lee circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ty Ponowog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ponowog throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lee throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ponowog is out of range.
Ponowog connects with a body shot that sends Lee's belly button to the back.

Ponowog throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Donk. Ponowog catches Lee right on the button with a cross.

Lee fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ponowog has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ponowog throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters circle, before Lee throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Ponowog's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Lee lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
