Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soham Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Palmer's half guard.
Palmer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Roy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Palmer is breathing heavily.
Palmer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roy is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palmer tries to roll over but Roy keeps him under control.
Roy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Palmer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Palmer tries to get out of the position.

Palmer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roy on the ground.

Roy punching from mount but Palmer doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Roy thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Roy working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Roy sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Roy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Palmer is rocked!
Tim Palmer's cut is getting worse.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tim Palmer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Soham Roy!
