The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuel throws a nice looking combination but Calahan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Calahan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Samuel throws a series of strikes that have Calahan backpedaling.
It looks like Mark Calahan has been cut.
Samuel lands with a cross.
Samuel lands with a big right hook that stumbles Calahan - he's out on his feet here! Samuel follows up with another monster hook that separates Calahan from consciousness! Calahan falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Samuel stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). George Samuel!
A very excited looking George Samuel rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
