Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Boxter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Boxter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxter throws out a loose jab but Powers uses good head movement to avoid it.

Powers takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Powers doesn't manage to clinch there - Boxter circles away.
Boxter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Powers. Powers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Powers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boxter to the mat! Boxter manages to get full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Powers lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Boxter down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Powers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Powers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Horrible takedown by Powers or perhaps it was just good defense by Boxter which made him look bad.
Boxter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch but Boxter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nice uppercut lands for Boxter. That snapped Powers's head back.

Powers closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Boxter's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Powers is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Boxter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Boxter has escaped and now he's on top!
Powers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Boxter is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Powers has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Boxter is looking to defend but Powers has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Boxter! Powers pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Boxter taps out and this one is all over!
