Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tsatsu Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chicken Beef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tsatsu Gomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chicken Beef!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi misses with a body shot.
Gomi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beef pinned against the cage. Beef gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gomi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Beef counters with a stiff right hand.
Gomi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gomi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Beef counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsatsu Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gomi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Beef stuffs the takedown.
Gomi misses with a takedown attempt - Beef sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Beef but Beef pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Beef uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gomi.

Beef misses with a looping left.
Gomi ducks right into an uppercut from Beef.
Beef cracks a nice hook into Gomi's ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gomi.
Gomi moves forwards but Beef connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gomi blocks a low kick nicely.
Beef wants to slow Gomi down by chopping away at his legs.

Gomi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gomi lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beef is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Beef wants to stand but Gomi is controlling the position.

Beef wants to sweep here but Gomi controlling him for the moment.
Gomi wants to control from the top but Beef keeps moving.
Gomi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Beef wants to get back to his feet but Gomi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gomi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Beef is pulling down on Gomi's head to control his posture.
Gomi wants to pass the guard but Beef is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chicken Beef.
Beef moves in looking to clinch but Gomi pushes him off.
Gomi just misses with a punch to the body.
Beef throws a leg kick but Gomi checks it.
Beef has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Beef misses with the combination.
Gomi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Beef lands with a hook. Gomi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Beef stuffs the takedown attempt from Gomi. Gomi gets slowly back to his feet.
Beef throws a body punch but Gomi moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Beef fails to land with a series of punches.
Gomi blocks the body kick.
Gomi misses with a wild body shot.
Beef swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gomi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beef.
Gomi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beef.
Beef is looking to slow Gomi down with leg kicks.
Beef uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gomi.
Gomi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beef defends it nicely.
Beef throws a big shot that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gomi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beef was covering up waiting for the punch and Gomi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chicken Beef dominated that round.

Gomi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gomi misses the shot to the body.
Gomi is looking to wear down Beef with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Gomi shoots in but no luck this time.
Gomi staying out of range there.
Beef tries to clinch there but Gomi circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Beef. No joy for Gomi on that attempt.
Gomi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beef swivels and escapes.

Gomi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Beef closes the distance and clinches.

Beef doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Beef lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Beef.
Beef misses with some punches.
Beef lands a left hand.

Beef breaks from the clinch.
Tsatsu Gomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomi misses with a takedown attempt - Beef sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gomi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beef.
Gomi lands a nice looking body shot.
Chicken Beef seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Gomi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Beef misses with an uppercut. Gomi saw that one coming.

Beef stuffs the takedown.
Beef fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gomi manages to avoid it.
Gomi misses with a body punch
and Beef makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gomi really felt that one!
Beef is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Gomi takes a swing at Beef's ribcage but misses.

Gomi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Beef trying to control the position here.
Gomi wants to control from the top but Beef keeps moving.
Gomi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beef is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gomi trying to control but Beef is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tsatsu Gomi.

Gomi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beef sprawls well initially but Gomi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gomi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gomi is trying to control the action in half guard but Beef is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Gomi works his way into full mount!
Beef tries to hold on but Gomi postures up.

Gomi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Beef is now in Gomi's guard. A big mistake from Gomi there, giving up the dominant position!
Gomi has his hands on Beef's head, controlling the position.

Beef tries to stand but Gomi is controlling from the bottom.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gomi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gomi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Beef defends well.
Beef wants to control from the top but Gomi keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tsatsu Gomi will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Beef moves in looking to clinch but Gomi pushes him off.

and Beef counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gomi shoots in looking for a takedown. Beef tries to sprawl out of it but Gomi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Beef manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gomi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beef was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomi.
Gomi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beef manages to avoid it.
Beef thuds his shin into the meat of Gomi's side.
Gomi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tsatsu Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gomi shoots in but Beef avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomi fails with the takedown
and Beef counters with a slapping leg kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gomi with a lazy takedown attempt
and Beef counters with a low kick, right behind Gomi 's knee.
Beef ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gomi moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Beef.
Gomi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Beef finds it's way round the side to connect with Gomi's head.
Beef is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gomi throws a body punch but Beef moves out of range.
Beef smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gomi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beef sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gomi somewhat.
Chicken Beef is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Beef keeps Gomi at a distance using the push kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beef throws a front kick that sends Gomi stumbling back into the cage.
Gomi keeps the fight on the outside.
Gomi fails with a takedown attempt.
Beef throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beef sprawls well. Beef wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gomi gets slowly back to his feet.
Gomi misses with a jab to the body
and Beef counters with a straight right hand.
Gomi shoots in for a takedown but Beef shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gomi misses with a wild body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gomi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Beef.
Beef tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gomi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gomi dives in and grabs Beef's left leg, looking for a takedown. Beef pushes down on Gomi's head and hops out.
Gomi swats away the attempt to clinch by Beef.
Gomi blocks a head kick by Beef.
Beef throws a head kick but Gomi moves out of range.
Gomi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Beef.
Donk. Beef catches Gomi right on the button with a cross.
Gomi will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Beef throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beef clinches up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Beef.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gomi blocks an elbow strike.
Gomi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Beef pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gomi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Beef.
Beef doesn't manage to clinch there - Gomi circles away.
A combination from Beef does no damage.
Gomi shoots in looking for a takedown but Beef manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gomi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gomi shoots and misses
and Beef counters with a leg kick.
Beef thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gomi if he has to take too many more of those.
Gomi closes the distance and clinches up with Beef, looking for a takedown. Gomi pushes Beef against the cage but Beef circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chicken Beef comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Beef has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
