The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnusson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kyle lands with a good body shot.
Magnusson moves out of range as Kyle throws a body kick.
Magnusson shoots in for a double leg but Kyle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sigmar Magnusson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kyle scores with a punch to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kyle throws a head kick that misses.
Kyle blocks a jab.
Magnusson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kyle but Kyle pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mark Kyle decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
