Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by park up pussy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hernandez's choice of entrance music: Sleep Now In the Fire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Javier Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hernandez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Hernandez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harrison is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Harrison sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Harrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hernandez is looking for a kimura here.
Hernandez is keen to just control but Harrison is a slippery customer.
Harrison wants to get back to his feet.
Harrison won't allow Hernandez to pass to mount.
Harrison is trying to stand.
Hernandez wants to control but Harrison is keeping him busy.

Harrison has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hernandez is working away from the top position though.
Harrison tries to roll over but Hernandez keeps him under control.

Hernandez is working for a kimura but Harrison is defending it quite comfortably.

Hernandez wants the takedown. Harrison is fighting it off but Hernandez persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Harrison's guard against the cage.

Hernandez drops back looking for a leg! Harrison is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harrison manages to kick Hernandez off! Hernandez jumps back into Harrison's guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Javier Hernandez wasn't active enough on the ground.

Harrison gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hernandez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Harrison is trying to keep an underhook but Hernandez manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Hernandez is working for a kimura here but Harrison manages to reverse the position and he's now in Hernandez's guard.

Hernandez pushes Harrison off and scrambles back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hernandez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Hernandez feints and as Harrison raises his hands in defense, Hernandez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Harrison bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hernandez's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Harrison's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hernandez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Harrison would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Javier Hernandez.
Harrison is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hernandez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hernandez takes the fight into the clinch.

Harrison is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hernandez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Harrison to the mat. Harrison regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hernandez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hernandez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hernandez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Javier Hernandez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Hernandez shoots in for a double leg but Harrison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hernandez has hold of Harrison's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Harrison manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hernandez has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Harrison is in real trouble here. Hernandez gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Harrison is tapping out! Hernandez wins by rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Javier Hernandez!
In his post fight interview, Javier Hernandez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
