Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuco Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyde comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho Man. Perez has chosen Metallica - One(S&M) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hyde misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hyde has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Perez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hyde swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hyde rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Perez uses his free foot to push down on Hyde's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hyde.

Hyde takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Perez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Perez decides to stand back up. Perez steps back and let's Hyde get back to his feet.
Hyde catches Perez napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Perez to the canvas!
