Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biff Rydberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore comes to the cage accompanied by Frank Klepacki - March to doom. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bobby Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Biff Rydberg!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rydberg misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moore.
Rydberg misses with a jab to the body
letting Moore counter with a right hand.
Moore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moore looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rydberg chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Moore can pounce on him.
Moore throws a looping overhand right but Rydberg ducks down to avoid it.
Moore takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Moore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rydberg moves away.
A big left from Rydberg misses.
Moore scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rydberg scores with a nice strike.
Rydberg throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Moore dodges the punch combination from Rydberg.

Crunch! Moore slams his shin into Rydberg's torso.
Rydberg waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Moore.
Biff Rydberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moore throws a leg kick that misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rydberg. Moore does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rydberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Moore is just out of range.

and Rydberg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Moore punishes Rydberg's body with a nice straight punch.
Moore throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rydberg.
Moore throws a sloppy body shot
and Rydberg counters with a left to the body.
Moore displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rydberg throws out the jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rydberg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Moore counters with a big head kick but Rydberg shrugs it off.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rydberg stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Moore closes the distance and clinches up with Rydberg, looking for a takedown. Moore pushes Rydberg against the cage but Rydberg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rydberg avoids the head kick by Moore.
Rydberg tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rydberg walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rydberg fails with an attempt to clinch.
Moore is looking to slow Rydberg down with leg kicks.
Rydberg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rydberg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rydberg looks to land a left hand but Moore moved out of range nicely.
Rydberg missing with a left hand there. Moore was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Moore keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rydberg.
Moore lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Moore takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rydberg avoids the head kick by Moore.
Rydberg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moore swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Some bone on bone action there as Rydberg checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Biff Rydberg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rydberg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Moore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moore walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rydberg slips a jab from Moore.
Rydberg misses with a wild body shot.
Rydberg ducks under a wild hook from Moore.
A nice leg kick lands there from Moore.
Moore throws a leg kick but Rydberg sees it coming and moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good leg kick by Moore there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rydberg tries to clinch but Moore moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bobby Moore will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Moore is looking to score with low kicks.
Rydberg wants to clinch up but Moore keeps it at a distance.
Moore ducks under a wild hook from Rydberg.
Rydberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Moore is just out of range.

Rydberg cracks Moore with a right hand to the side of the head.
Moore throws a leg kick but Rydberg sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Moore lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rydberg's sensitive parts.
Moore's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rydberg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Moore scrambles back to his feet.

Moore misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rydberg moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rydberg tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it.

Moore throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rydberg throws a hook to the side of Moore's head but Moore sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Moore shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Moore throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Rydberg is in all sorts of trouble here.
Moore content just to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore throwing strikes but Rydberg recovers to half guard. A much better position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moore connects with a nice short shot to Rydberg's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Rydberg tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rydberg crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Moore - the referee stops the clock and Rydberg gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Moore. Rydberg manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Moore lands a head kick. Rydberg smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Moore throws a chopping leg kick but Rydberg manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Rydberg might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rydberg checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Rydberg's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Rydberg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Moore sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Moore wants to get back to striking at distance but Rydberg won't allow it.
Biff Rydberg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bobby Moore is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rydberg tries to land knees in the clinch but Moore avoids the damage to the body.
Rydberg cracks Moore with a nice body shot.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rydberg just misses with a elbow thrown towards Moore's brow.
Rydberg lands a damaging elbow.

Rydberg lands a left hand that snaps the head of Moore backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Moore wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

It looks like Bobby Moore has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rydberg creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
