Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pyyno Janis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Tevreden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janis comes to the cage accompanied by Rubber Johnny. Tevreden is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Whiplash . Pyyno Janis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Erik Tevreden!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tevreden throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Janis throws a leg kick but Tevreden sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tevreden throws out a leg kick but Janis moves out of range and Tevreden only half commits.
Tevreden goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Pyyno Janis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Tevreden.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Tevreden.
Janis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tevreden sprawls well initially but Janis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tevreden gets back to full guard.
Janis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tevreden working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Janis.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tevreden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Janis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tevreden wants to sweep here but Janis controlling him for the moment.

Janis advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Janis wants to pass the guard but Tevreden is defending well.
Janis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Tevreden is trying to maintain the position but Janis is very close to passing his half guard.
Janis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Janis winds up and cracks Tevreden with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Janis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tevreden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Janis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Janis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Janis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tevreden is on top in guard.
Tevreden postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Janis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tevreden, into his guard.

Janis working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Tevreden trying to keep a closed guard but Janis is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Janis has gone for a leg lock! Tevreden slips out almost immediately though and dives into Janis's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pyyno Janis dominated that round.

Janis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick misses from Tevreden.
Tevreden checks a leg kick.
Tevreden throws a solid leg kick but Janis takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tevreden.
Janis lands a leg kick that knocks Tevreden off balance momentarily.

Tevreden throws a sloppy head kick and Janis moves out of range easily.

Janis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tevreden's guard.

Janis pushes down on Tevreden's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Tevreden won't allow Janis to pass to mount.
Tevreden wants to control but Janis passes into side.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Janis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Janis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Janis is working Tevreden over with some ground and pound from side control.
Tevreden is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Janis controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tevreden takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Janis cracks Tevreden with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Janis immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Tevreden is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Janis!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pyyno Janis!
A very excited looking Pyyno Janis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
