Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bu Laia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Tszyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laia's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hawaii '78 by Brudda Iz. Tszyu has chosen System of a Down - Toxicity as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bu Laia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Konstantin Tszyu!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laia throws a jab but it's blocked by Tszyu.
Laia wants to slow Tszyu down by chopping away at his legs.
Laia throws a low kick but Tszyu moves out of range easily.
Tszyu throws a head kick but Laia moves out of range.
Tszyu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Laia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Laia throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tszyu.
Tszyu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tszyu closes the distance and clinches.
Tszyu can't get the takedown.
Laia blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tszyu.

Tszyu wants a takedown.
Tszyu throws a head punch that misses.
Tszyu tries to break free but Laia pushes him back against the cage.

Laia struggles to land a body shot inside as Tszyu controls his hands.

Tszyu is trying to push Laia away but Laia has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Laia manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tszyu struggles to land a body shot inside as Laia controls his hands.
Laia lands a body shot.
Tszyu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Tszyu has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Laia after a bit of a struggle.
Bu Laia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantin Tszyu.
Tszyu is trying to push Laia away but Laia has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Laia.

Laia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tszyu clinches up against the cage.
Laia gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tszyu.
Tszyu looks gassed!
A short body shot lands from Laia as the two fighters clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tszyu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Laia lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A nice left hand lands by Laia.
A right handed body shot lands from Laia.

Laia prevents a takedown attempt there.

Laia presses Tszyu against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Laia manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Tszyu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Laia looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Laia looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Laia!
Tszyu takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sloppy strikes there by Laia.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tszyu is not content to let Laia control the position.
Laia working the strikes but Tszyu uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Laia is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tszyu is in trouble now - Laia has advanced to mount!
Laia with a couple of short strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Laia with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Laia jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tszyu is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tszyu and Laia has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Laia looking to control but instead Tszyu has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Laia is looking to advance position but Tszyu won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bu Laia dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Laia pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Laia misses with an uppercut.
Tszyu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Laia.
Tszyu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tszyu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Laia thows a left - swing and a miss!
Laia keeps the fight on the outside.
Laia rushes Tszyu and presses him up against the cage.
Laia lands a shoulder strike.
Tszyu lands with a light punch inside.
Tszyu tries for a takedown. No joy.
Tszyu lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laia pushes off an throws an elbow but Tszyu leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Laia gets underhooks to prevent Tszyu's takedown attempt.
Laia looking to throw knees to the head but Tszyu is blocking nicely.
Laia is pushing Tszyu up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Tszyu tries to score a body lock takedown but Laia shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bu Laia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantin Tszyu.

Tszyu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Laia is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tszyu tries to throw a body punch but Laia avoids it by throwing Tszyu back against the cage.
Tszyu goes for a takedown in the clinch but Laia prevents it.
Tszyu is breathing heavily.
Laia lands a body punch.
Laia can't get the takedown.
Tszyu tries to pull guard but Laia won't allow it.
Bu Laia has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Laia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tszyu backwards.
Laia blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Tszyu wants to take the fight to the mat but Laia manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Tszyu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Laia decides to pull guard.
Laia manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Laia lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laia tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Laia is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Tszyu is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Laia! Tszyu is hurt baaadly! Laia is firing away with more strikes - Tszyu is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bu Laia!
