Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Slugger!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong fails with the takedown.
Armstrong moves to clinch but Slugger breaks away
and Slugger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Hugh Armstrong has been cut.
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slugger leaves Armstrong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Armstrong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Slugger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Slugger missing with a left hand there. Armstrong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Armstrong tries to land knees in the clinch but Slugger avoids the damage to the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Armstrong.
Armstrong wants a takedown but no success here.
Armstrong wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Slugger has had enough of the clinch but Armstrong keeps him there for the moment.
Armstrong is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Slugger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Armstrong scores a nice knee to the body.
Armstrong tries to pull guard but Slugger holds him up against the cage and eventually Armstrong drops back down to his feet.

Armstrong tries to pull guard but Slugger holds him up against the cage and eventually Armstrong drops back down to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Armstrong is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Slugger is keeping busy.
Slugger is looking to break free of the clinch but Armstrong has double underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Slugger dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Slugger throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Slugger. Those never looked like landing.

Slugger's corner calls for a 1-2. Slugger obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Armstrong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slugger avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Slugger misses the target.
A big right from Slugger misses.
Slugger defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Armstrong.
Armstrong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slugger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Armstrong somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Armstrong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slugger cracks Armstrong with an open hand slap.

Armstrong doesn't manage to clinch there - Slugger circles away.
Slugger scores with a jab to the body.
Hugh Armstrong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
BOOM! Slugger lands a beautiful left hook that drops Armstrong. Armstrong tries to recover but Slugger is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Armstrong lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
